Crusade just uses the gullible

On February 24, 2007, you ran an article titled Winning the Lost at any cost. Your title is quite accurate, for the costs of Benny Hinn’s crusade are not taken care by Hinn’s people but paid by the gullible, who flock to him.

Benny Hinn has never been able to medically prove that real miracles happened in his crusades.

Talat to meet Rehn over direct trade today

TURKISH CYPRIOT leader Mehmet Ali Talat said yesterday he hoped an EU regulation to end the economic isolation of northern Cyprus would be agreed by mid-year but accused Greek Cypriots of seeking to undermine the move.

Talat said the government was insisting all trade between the north and the rest of the EU go through Greek Cypriot ports.

‘We’re not dealing with illegal immigrants’

Father jailed for assaulting ex-father-in-law

Defence claims attack was induced by diabetic fit

A NICOSIA man was yesterday jailed for eight months for assaulting his former father-in-law.
The 48-year-old man was yesterday jailed by a Nicosia Court after pleading guilty to two counts of illegal entry into his father-in-law’s house and assault.

The incident occurred in the early hours of January 21 last year.
