Fake CDs

COPYRIGHT theft police confiscated almost 5,000 fake CDs from a Limassol electrical shop following a tip off on Friday morning, police said yesterday.
During the raid 4,593 CDs, which appeared to be copies, were found as well as two computers, two printers and five copywriters.

Remand for attacking children

A 47-year-old Russian tourist has been remanded in eight day custody after he attempted to sexually assault two children, police said.

The girls, aged seven and nine, had been staying in the same hotel as their parents when the 47-year-old allegedly took them to his room without their parents’ consent and attacked them.

Just who do they think they’re kidding?

IS THERE anyone with half a brain who has not realised what is behind the President’s surprising decision to call for a meeting with Mehmet Ali Talat, which he had been staunchly opposing for years now? Even a five-year-old could see through the President’s puerile antics.
