Simple, quick and painless poison of the ancients

Name: Hemlock (Conium maculatum). The plant takes its name from the Greek konos, meaning to whirl about and the Latin maculatum, meaning spotted. The common name is from the Anglo Saxon hem, meaning shore and laec, meaning plant.
Otherwise known as: Poison Parsley, Spotted Corobane, Poison Hemlock
