A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been remanded in custody after his attempt at a violent robbery backfired when his intended victim fought back.

Bomb rocks Paphos village

A LOUD bomb blast rocked a small woodwork factory in Kissonerga in Paphos in the early hours of yesterday morning,.

The explosion destroyed the entrance of the shop, which is owned by two brothers from Panayia. Windows of the factory and nearby houses were also blown out by the force of the blast, as was a nearby car windscreen.
